Nowadays, the application scope of ultrasonic technology in the oil production process is constantly expanding. Through the mechanical action, thermal action, cavitation action, acoustic flow action and reverse flow action of ultrasonic waves, it has an impact on production oil wells, water injection wells and near-well oil layers. Change the physical properties and flow state of the fluid in the oil layer, improve the flow conditions and permeability of the downhole fluid, loosen the blockage of the oil production well and the water injection well, and discharge the oil well with the liquid. It can improve the formation permeability, reduce the viscosity of crude oil, and then increase the amount of liquid production, crude oil production and water injection. Ultrasonic oil recovery technology can increase the production of oil wells, increase the injection of water wells, prolong the service life of oil well equipment, shorten the shutdown time, and improve the effective oil recovery rate.
The principle of ultrasonic oil recovery is: when high-power ultrasonic waves enter the oil layer, the diameter of the capillary in the oil layer will change with the action of ultrasonic waves. When the capillary diameter changes, its surface tension and capillary force also change. When the radius of the capillary becomes larger, the surface tension is reduced by the square of the radius, and the capillary force is reduced by the cube of the radius, which breaks the original equilibrium relationship between the capillary force and gravity. The equilibrium relationship is broken, and it flows into the well under the action of gravity and ultrasonic vibration. In addition, under the action of high-power ultrasonic waves, the oil layer will crack, forming cracks and improving the permeability of crude oil. The scope of application of ultrasonic oil recovery mainly includes:
(1) When drilling, the mud soaking time is long, causing serious pollution to the oil well;
(2) Oil wells with serious oil layer blockage and sensitive to water and acid;
(3) Oil wells that are close to the oil-water boundary and cannot be stimulated by fracturing;
(4) Oil wells with good oil layer physical properties and large oil layer thickness, but poor oil production capacity;
(5) Heavy oil wells and wax deposition wells;
(6) Oil wells whose permeability has dropped sharply due to salt scale, fouling, or contamination by mechanical impurities.
Ultrasonic oil recovery technology is widely valued by the petroleum industry for its low cost, simple construction process, no damage to the formation, no pollution, rapid action and many other advantages, especially in the middle and late stages of oilfield development, ultrasonic oil recovery technology is used for secondary and tertiary oil recovery, Enhanced oil recovery is one of the important methods with a bright future. Therefore, this technology is highly valued by a large number of engineers and technicians.
