An ultrasonic generator converts mains power into high-frequency electrical energy, which is then converted into mechanical vibration by a piezoelectric converter. The amplitude is amplified by an amplitude transformer and transmitted to the titanium alloy cutting blade. The blade vibrates at high frequency to produce a near-frictionless cutting surface, thus enabling the cutting of food.
